The Dog Camp Story
The Original and Remastered!
Dog Camp was originally established in 2001 but became Dog Camp- Pawsitive Thoughts, LLC in 2022 when we purchased the business. We are life-long, dedicated pet parents and owning Dog Camp is a dream come true.
We prioritize safety and excellence in care while being relationship-based and community-focused.
At Dog Camp, our actions will always bark louder than words!
There’s a reason we’ve been voted, Best of Dripping Springs for 2023 and 2024 as well as a Nextdoor, Neighborhood Fave and awarded Best Pet Services. We are committed to not only setting, but exceeding the local industry standard of pet care.
Besides being pet owners and lovers, Art and Caryl were also clients of Dog Camp for 7 years prior to becoming co-owners. Ruger, the German Shepherd represented on the left-hand side of our logo, regularly attended day care as a puppy. He became a dad when he was bred with Gracie, another Dog Camper and they had a litter of bouncing baby GSDs! Remi with the floppy ear, is Ruger’s and Gracie’s daughter and represented on the right-hand side of our logo.
Then Frankie, the middle dog in our logo, is Claudia’s mix breed rock star, escape artist, human-in-canine form, and Dog Camp’s, CED (Chief Executive Dog)! He’s a testament that big things come in small packages!

Our beautiful, 16-acre property is your pet’s perfect home away from home. It’s where dogs have tail-wagging fun with friends, run and play with dirt and grass beneath their paws, spend their days playing under the shade of beautiful oak trees or napping in spacious, climate-controlled indoor/outdoor kennels.
Forever Loved…
Our hearts break everytime one of our Campers journeys over the Rainbow Bridge. Our Rainbow Bridge Memorial Garden is a special place of peaceful remembrance for those with dog-shaped holes in their hearts.
